My thoughts: This is my HG mascara! I LOVE this thing. It actually does what it states. My lashes are normal (normal length and normal volume). I heard many people say that they love this mascara except if you try to put on more than one coat, it starts looking clumpy and flakes. As Beauty Broadcast puts it, "less is more." I did not experience any such thing. I even ran a comb through my lashes to separate and see if it got worse or flaked. I put on about 3-4 coats on each eye. IF there was a part where it got a little clumpy, then i just ran my eyelash comb through it. No big deal.
Because of its technology of the fibers attaching to your lashes and thereby extending and volumizing them, the formula is very dry.
DO NOT WAIT IN BETWEEN COATS. COMB YOUR LASHES RIGHT AFTER YOU ARE DONE APPLYING MASCARA TO ONE EYE. THEN GO ON AND APPLY THE MASCARA TO THE OTHER EYE.
Sorry... I didn't mean to yell, i just wanted to make sure you guys saw that.
My experience can also be due to the fact on HOW I am applying the mascara. I actually let my eyes do the work. How? I position the wand right up next to my lashes like normal, but instead of moving the wand through my lashes, I move my lashes through the wand...by blinking. I just blink and my lashes are coated with the mascara. Do it a few times and I'm set. In the areas where i was unable to get enough product, I just do it the regular way.
Bottom line: GO BUY IT! DO not be scared by the dry formula...it works!
