My thoughts: I was really excited when I first heard about this foundation and all the hype, but I was disappointed. It is Light coverage at best. It doesn't really cover anything. This foundation is made for those who are blessed with near perfect skin...as in no acne, no post acne scaring. If you have an uneven skin tone, then yes, this foundation will do the trick and help even it out, otherwise, forget it. This reminds me of a tinted moisturizer.
I have never used blush ever. When i went to MAC to do a makeover for a wedding, the makeup artist put blush on me and it made me look darker. Im sorry, but i dont like to be tanned or look tanned...i want to be as fair as i can be (cultural and personal preference).
I am pretty pale (being a yellow, nc25-er), as you can tell yourself, but i want to add some color to my face. I tried NARS Orgasam, and i wasnt feeling the coral thing and it was kinda bright. I was thinking like a muave tone...but someone told me i would look dark, because that is for medium/dark skin tones.
HELP!
My question to you: What color would look best on yellow, nc25 skin, that isnt too over the top...just subtle color? What blush and color do YOU use?Comment away :)
Product: Revlon Colorstay for Combination/Oily Skin
Description as stated on Website:ColorStay™ Makeup with SoftFlex™ provides lightweight comfort, so you feel like you’re not wearing makeup. Looks fresh for up to 16 hours.
Coverage: Medium to Full coverage Price: $10-15 (depending on where you buy it and where you live) Shade: Buff, Sand Beige, Golden Beige My thoughts: I have read so many reviews about this foundation! So, why am I doing yet another review, you ask? Well, its for my NC25 ladies of course! Sadly, there isnt a shade in this line that matches an NC25. Some of you that are NC25 but not as yellow, but with neutral undertones might be lucky and can get away with it, but for those who are truly NC25...I'm sorry ladies...I feel your pain. Its very cakey and hard to blend. You WILL look like you have makeup on...even if you dont slather it on. It has been said that Revlon Colorstay is a dupe of MAC studiofix fluid. What do I say? Its close...but StudioFix is much more benda…
