Clarisonic Update!

Ok everyone.

Sorry for the lack of replies, but I wanted to make sure I gave you all a thorough review of the Clarisonic Mia. I know I already did one...but that was just my first impression.

I have been using the Clarisonic for a week now and there are my thoughts:

Worth the $150+? YES! This is the best thing you can buy for your skin. I know its a lot, but it is worth every single penny. If you can afford it, buy it! If not, dont worry, i got your back...i will be reviewing the Pretika version soon..should be coming any day now.

Noticeable Differences: My skin glows. It is more radiant. My scars have gone waaay down and are much lighter (50%). As a result, I am using less makeup. See below....

Daily Routine BEFORE Clarisonic:
  • Wash face with Olay Regenerist Cream Cleanser
  • Wash face with GRISI Mother of Pearl Soap (helps reduce appearance of scars)
  • Apply Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti Wrinkle Cream SPF 15
  • Apply Primer (Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Chafing Relief Powder-Gel) - Exact dupe of Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer.
  • Concealer: MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW20
  • Apply Foundation: Boots No7 Lifting and Firming Liquid Foundation in Nude.
  • Dust on Powder: MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation in NC30.
Daily Routine AFTER Clarisonic:
  • Wash face with Olay Regenerist Cream Cleanser using Clarisonic
  • Apply Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti Wrinkle Cream SPF 15
  • Apply Primer (Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Chafing Relief Powder-Gel) - Exact dupe of Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer.
  • Concealer: MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW20
  • MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation in NC30.
  • ELF HD Powder: To make my makeup last longer.
As you can tell, I dont need to use the heavy/full coverage liquid foundation anymore. Yes, the MAC Powder Foundation is also very pigmented, as I have used it as foundation in the past without using liquid  foundation (because i couldn't find a match for NC25). However, I dont apply nearly as much as I would. I just use a flat top brush like Elf Studio Powder Brush (The best brush EVER if you want a nice full coverage powder application), but with a lot less product. I just Tap the brush in the powder and brush it on...3-4 times for my entire face. Thats all.

Clarisonic is AMAZING!!!!

  1. Want to help reduce that double chin?
The ChinUp Mask will help reduce the appearance of unwanted fat around the chin whilst hydrating the skin.
